The first batch of Tunisian pilgrims departed from Tunis-Carthage International Airport yesterday, heading to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj 2024, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Before their departure, the Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs Ibrahim Chaibi and the Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Abdulaziz Al-Saqr warmly met with the pilgrims and wished them a smooth and seamless spiritual journey in the Kingdom.
Chaibi advised the guests of Allah to kindly follow the instructions of the Saudi authorities and cooperate with them throughout the entire journey.
In the same vein, Al-Saqr underscored the Saudi efforts to provide the pilgrims with the best services while performing the fifth pillar of Islam. He confirmed that the authorities have facilitated all entry procedures to help the pilgrims complete their spiritual journey and return back to their homelands with smooth and fulfilling Hajj experience.
Saudi Arabia has embarked on early preparations for the new Hajj season to receive over 2 million Muslim pilgrims expected to arrive later this month. Anticipating record-breaking numbers of pilgrims, the Saudi government and private sector agencies are collaborating in the operational plans to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the pilgrims in and around Mecca.
