Jeddah Hub, Transit Growth

Saudia is advancing its Jeddah hub strategy using a “waves of operation” model that aligns flight schedules into interconnected waves. The approach improves connection efficiency and streamlines east–west transfers, with a target to more than double transit passengers from over 2 million in 2026 to above 5.5 million by 2030.

96-Hour Transit Visa

A transit visa—issuable electronically at the time of booking—allows stays of up to 96 hours, enabling guests to perform Umrah, visit tourist attractions and experience the Kingdom’s offerings before continuing to their final destinations.
