Hyundai Motor Company has teamed up with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and NetZero. Together, they aim to plant 20,000 trees across the Kingdom. This initiative supports Vision 2030’s sustainability goals, focusing on environmental stewardship.
A signing ceremony took place at the Ministry’s office in Riyadh. It was attended by Hyundai representatives, the Ministry’s Sedra Program, and NetZero officials.
This tree-planting campaign will significantly enhance CO2 absorption and restore ecosystems. By creating green spaces, it will promote biodiversity and improve climate resilience.
Hyundai’s Commitment to a Greener Future
Tarek Mosaad, Hyundai’s director for business strategies in the Middle East and Africa, highlighted the company’s dedication to sustainability. He stated:
