Hyundai Motor, Kia Unfold New Chapter with Misk Foundation to Empower Saudi Leaders

Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai Motor) and Kia Corporation (Kia) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Misk Foundation to boost cooperation in Saudi Arabia’s youth leadership initiatives.

According to Hyundai, the MoU will develop a more innovative and thriving environment for the upcoming Saudi leaders.

Empowering Saudi Leaders

Signed in Riyadh on September 30, the partnership marks a significant milestone toward elevating the Kingdom’s future leaders through numerous initiatives and programs offered by Misk Foundation.

The signing ceremony highlighted the presence of Jae-yong Lee, Vice President and Head of the Smart City Innovation Group at Hyundai Motor and Kia and Omar Al-Najjar, Deputy CEO of Misk Foundation.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Misk Foundation, a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship for Saudi future leaders. We aim to create synergies to empower the next generation of leaders. This collaborative effort will not only contribute to the development of Saudi Arabia’s knowledge-based economy, but also pave the way for a more sustainable and connected future,” Lee said.

Misk Traineeship Program

Based on the deal, the involved parties will develop the Misk Traineeship Program.

This program is primarily designed to provide a vast array of international learning opportunities for Saudi youth, exposing them to Hyundai Motor and Kia’s cutting-edge technologies and global expertise.

Misk Global Forum (MGF)

The deal also encompasses the participation of Hyundai Motor and Kia in the upcoming Misk Global Forum (MGF), Saudi Arabia’s largest youth-oriented platform.

Thus, the forum will represent a valuable platform for both countries to actively engage with Saudi young leaders and startups, discovering their ideas and insights into the future.

Smart City Applications

The companies will further discuss potential opportunities to collaborate in smart city applications with Misk City. For example, they may study and showcase new technologies within the City and make use of the Misk’s several event venues for future initiatives.
