Data from the Saudi Aid Platform, affiliated with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), show that total support directed to Yemen has reached about $29.05 billion (SAR 109 billion). Yemen ranks second among the countries receiving the most aid recorded on the platform, after Egypt.
Humanitarian, development and charitable projects directed to Yemen are valued at about $16.99 billion, spread across 1,622 projects in the economy, health, food security, education and basic services.
The figures indicate that Saudi support goes beyond immediate humanitarian relief to development and economic projects designed to strengthen infrastructure, public services and economic stability.
Aid has been delivered through several Saudi entities, including the Ministry of Finance, KSrelief, the Ministry of Energy, the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and the Saudi Fund for Development.
Three sectors account for more than half of the recorded funding. Industry, mining and mineral resources lead with $3.95 billion, followed by financial and banking services at about $3 billion, and budget support at $2.18 billion.
On the humanitarian side, food and agricultural security received about $1.57 billion, followed by health with more than $1 billion. General programs received $1 billion, while support for and coordination of humanitarian operations received about $715 million.
By project count, health leads Saudi interventions in Yemen with 745 projects, or about 46% of all registered projects. Food and agricultural security ranks second with 169 projects, followed by education with 110.

The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has registered 186 projects worth about $2.55 billion, spanning budget support, industry and mining, energy, health and education.
The data highlight a distinction between funding value and project numbers: economic and development sectors receive the largest share of spending, while health leads in the number of projects implemented.
