King Salman Park has secured the World Silver Award at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2026 in the Sustainable Development Projects category, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The award came in recognition of the project’s comprehensive sustainability framework, which thoughtfully integrates environmental principles at every stage of development, from initial planning and design through to implementation and long-term operations.
Through a series of innovative sustainability practices, the park has also fostered resource efficiency, boosted biodiversity and minimized its environmental footprint, while developing a more inclusive and livable urban environment.

These efforts are guided by Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and supports the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Green Initiative as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As one of the world’s largest city parks, King Salman Park is a flagship project that has been dramatically transforming Riyadh’s urban landscape.
The park aims to create a vibrant destination that promotes quality of life and supports the city’s long-term development goals.
