AlUla Launches Interactive Environment Week 2026 to Encourage Sustainability

The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) will launch a series of interactive events as part of Environment Week 2026, running from Thursday through Saturday between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM daily, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Through hands-on activities and educational initiatives, the program seeks to underscore the significance of preserving natural resources and encouraging the adoption of sustainable environmental practices.

At the same time, it aims to promote greater public awareness of ecological protection while spreading responsible behaviors that support environmental sustainability.

Interestingly, the initiative brings together collaborative participation from the National Center for Environmental Compliance, as well as a dedicated Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) pavilion displaying state-of-the-art environmental technologies.

The exhibits will boast mobile air quality monitoring stations alongside rapid-response systems designed to address environmental incidents.
