Saudi Arabia Launches Inaugural Water Week in Jeddah

The inaugural Saudi Water Week will kick off tomorrow in Jeddah, running from June 28 to July 2, under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The five-day event will serve as a national and international platform, bringing together global policymakers, researchers, as well as private sector leaders.

With a special aim to boost water security, promote sustainable management of water resources, and boost scientific innovation, the event will feature the Arab Water Forum and the second consultative meeting for the 2027 World Water Forum.

Through more than 97 dialogue sessions, panel discussions, and technical workshops, the event will spotlight the latest global best practices, while showcasing the Kingdom’s milestones in water infrastructure as part of its Saudi Vision 2030 transformation.

Notably, the event also represents a significant step that further underscores Riyadh’s preparations to host the 2027 World Water Forum.

The Saudi Water Week will also boast an accompanying exhibition where government agencies and international firms will highlight a series of the latest state-of-the-art technologies in desalination, water reuse, and digital water solutions.

Apart from this, the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture will also sign a series of strategic agreements and deals with local and international partners to promote investment, boost expertise-sharing, and advance sustainable solutions to global water challenges.
