
Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, inaugurated today the Salam Horse Hospital in Buraidah. This hospital is a specialized facility dedicated to providing veterinary treatments and conducting research related to equine health, offering comprehensive healthcare for horses.

He stated: “The hospital is distinguished by the variety of available medical specialties and the presence of specialized medical expertise in equine treatment, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical services in line with the highest international standards. Moreover, this pioneering project, supporting equine care and advancing veterinary services to meet global standards will contribute to delivering the highest levels of care. This will help the Kingdom maintain its leadership in this field.”
Veterinary Medical Services
His Royal Highness the Emir of the Qassim region reviewed the veterinary medical services provided by Salam Equine Hospital. It also offers a comprehensive system of care that includes conducting extensive research on horses’ health and genetics, preserving rare breeds, and managing detailed medical needs. He toured the hospital’s departments, which include surgery, sports injuries, radiology, reproductive health, laboratories, and field visits.
The Emir of Qassim attended a ceremonial event, where Fahad Al-Fahad, Chairman of the Salam Veterinary Group, expressed gratitude for His Highness’s support of regional investment projects, including Salam. Al-Fahad highlighted that Salam Equine Hospital, founded in 2023. Moreover, it aims for global leadership in modern equine veterinary medicine and advance all areas benefiting horses and caretakers.
His Highness also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Salam Equine Hospital and several horse stables in the region. Finally, he honored supporters and contributors to the hospital’s programs.
