Royal Commission for AlUla Launches Fourth Phase of 'AlUla Scholarship Program
The Royal Commission for AlUla has launched the fourth phase of the ‘AlUla Scholarship Program’ in various fields. These field include tourism, hospitality, agriculture, history, arts, archaeology, museums, urban planning, environmental science, facility management, and communication management.
Objectives of the program
The program aligns with the strategic development goals of the Royal Commission, which revolve around providing scholars with diverse knowledge and skills.
These skills are specifically designed to meet the growing requirements of local and global job markets.
Moreover, it aims to prepare them to be future leaders and entrepreneurs. The program includes prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
AlUla Scholarship Program is also one of the strategic objectives of the Royal Commission to invest in enhancing capabilities and enriching knowledge of the Saudis in AlUla.
The first phase of the program started in 2018 with the aim of preparing participants for active roles in the future of the Kingdom and significantly contributing to enhancing the job market in AlUla.
Leaders of the Future
Furthermore, these future leaders would drive the transformative journey in AlUla, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. They would contribute to the economy and diverse culture of AlUla.Thus, this would enhance its status as a center of knowledge, culture, and environmental leadership.
AlUla Scholarship Program has seen significant growth in enrollment rates, starting from 168 students in the first phase, up to 292 students in the second phase. It reached 300 students in the third phase. To date, a total of 762 students have benefited from the program, with 69 scholars graduating in various specialties.
