Saudi volunteers are currently playing a pivotal role in the Northern Borders region to welcome Iraqi pilgrims arriving through the Jadidat Arar border crossing, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The spirit of volunteerism has led more than 80 volunteers to step up and assist the elderly, while providing guidance and hospitality in the designated pilgrim city.
The volunteers are affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Northern Border University, the Saudi Red Crescent, the Arar Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.
They are keen to help the pilgrims with entry procedures and basic health-related tasks, such as taking vital signs.
Furthermore, the participants expressed their sincere self-fulfillment and satisfaction by helping the guests of Allah.
They believe that being in pilgrims’ service teaches them spiritual meanings that strengthen their faith and purify their souls.
Moreover, those young men and women are steadfast in their dedication to the Saudi Arabia’s objective of providing smooth and seamless journey for pilgrims.
It is noteworthy that the Jadidat Arar land port has ramped up preparations to welcome Iraqi pilgrims under the supervision of the Governor of the Northern Borders Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
