Qiddiya’s Speed Park Track: Taking Saudi Motorsport to New Heights

With a new exclusive viewing lounge taking shape, Qiddiya’s Speed Park Track is poised to elevate motorsport beyond a single race‑day spectacle, redefining it as a fully immersive entertainment experience.

Qiddiya Shifts into High Gear

The announcement accelerates Qiddiya’s drive to realize its ambitious motorsport vision.

Set to complement landmark attractions such as Aquarabia and Six Flags, the new lounge forms part of a broader push to position the Speed Park Track as a prestigious venue for Formula 1 Grand Prix and MotoGP races.

By seamlessly fusing world-class motorsport with immersive entertainment, the lounge will redefine the race-day experience, offering premium hospitality and breathtaking views of the track.

Ready for a New Racing Experience?

Adding a new layer of luxury to the high-speed spectacle, the exclusive viewing lounge will rise as a four-storey destination dedicated to race-day viewing and guest hospitality.

Awarded to Riyadh-based El Seif Engineering Contracting, the project will integrate dedicated spectator areas, indoor lounge spaces, and tailored amenities designed to meet the demands of motorsport audiences.

Built to advance Saudi Arabia’s ambition of becoming a regional and global racing hub, the Speed Park Track also promises a lineup of world‑first features, blending technical complexity with record‑breaking design.

Spanning both open and street configurations, the circuit will boast 80 garages and 21 corners, with cars reaching speeds of more than 325 kilometers per hour.

Its boldest hallmark, however, may be the Blade, a 70‑metre‑high corner set to become the world’s first cantilevered track section. Designed by former Formula 1 driver Alex Wurz alongside renowned circuit designer Hermann Tilke, the striking structure will fuse motorsport and engineering, transforming the track itself into an architectural icon.

A Year-Round Motorsport Hub

Rather than standing apart from Qiddiya City, the Speed Park Track will be seamlessly woven into its fabric.

Set in the heart of the destination, the circuit will wrap around and thread through nearby attractions, creating a dramatic backdrop and offering visitors unexpected vantage points.

Once complete, the track will host major international motorsport events while sustaining a year-round calendar of open-track days and fan experiences.

Enhancing this momentum, the destination will serve as a dedicated home for the country’s growing network of motorsport clubs.

Built around speed, the Speed Park is only one element of Qiddiya’s wider vision.

More boldly, the greater Qiddiya development is envisioned as a sprawling entertainment and sports destination, uniting an e-games arena, the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium, a horse-racing venue, a performing arts centre, Dragon Ball and Six Flags theme parks, and Aquarabia, according to MEED.

Saudi Arabia’s First Six Flags

Aquarabia complements the city’s flagship theme park, Six Flags Qiddiya City. Both parks offer a unique selection of activities to entertain visitors.

It involves eight zones, each designed to create thrilling adventures for visitors from all ages. They include family-friendly attractions like Camel Rock and Wave Wadi beach bay to adrenaline-pumping activities at the extreme watersports zone and Viper Canyon adventurous zone.

Six Flags Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia’s first-ever world-class theme park, officially opened its doors in January, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s leisure sector.

Nestled at the heart of the Tuwaiq Mountains, the dynamic city features world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural attractions, offering unparalleled experiences for visitors.

The park also features 28 rides, including record‑breaking attractions such as Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster alongside Iron Rattler, the world’s highest tilt coaster, and Spitfire, the tallest inverted coaster worldwide.

To ensure a comfortable and fully inclusive experience, Six Flags Qiddiya City can accommodate all visitors, including individuals with special needs, senior citizens, and their companions. These guests can obtain discounted tickets exclusively at the park.
