Hajj Ministry, Zain KSA Sign MoU to Support “Guests of Most Merciful” Program Goals

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “Zain Saudi Arabia” to collaborate on enhancing the visitor experience by developing the Direct Hajj Program. This initiative aims to serve pilgrims from over 120 countries worldwide through the official platform, “Nusuk Hajj.”

The agreement will enhance the visitor experience by improving the process of purchasing communication services within the Kingdom, ensuring access to the best connectivity options and accurate information via the official platform. Additionally, “Zain Saudi Arabia” will sponsor the “Nusuk Hajj” platform, catering to visitors from the targeted countries for direct Hajj, while providing exclusive benefits for platform users.

Maher Al-Fawaz, Chief Sales Officer at “Zain Saudi Arabia,” stated: “At Zain Saudi Arabia, we are committed to a clear strategy that promotes digital inclusion across the Kingdom and develops an advanced digital infrastructure to provide the best customer experience. We also align this direction with a strong national, religious, and social commitment to actively contribute to national efforts. This aimed at enhancing the digital capacity of the Pilgrim Service Program. Moreover, this supports its execution plan and objectives, targeting 30 million Umrah performers and pilgrims by 2030. All pilgrims enjoy an unprecedented digital experience that facilitates and enriches their spiritual and cultural journey.”

“Zain Saudi Arabia” has successfully achieved 100% 5G network coverage in the holy sites through all its towers. Finally, this was part of an investment plan worth SAR 1.6 billion to expand its 5G infrastructure and digital service ecosystem.
