Egyptian PM Visits Saudi Pavilion at World Urban Forum

Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and head of the Saudi delegation participating in the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12) Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz have recently visited the Saudi pavilion at the forum.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi pavilion spans over 2,000 m² and boasts special spaces for meetings, workshops, and dialogue sessions.

Organized by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, it also includes platforms for signing, a VIP area, a pavilion for the Ministry, and other pavilions for participating national entities.

Moreover, the pavilion features more than 40 interactive activities and 150 representatives of Saudi entities.

Crucially, the Saudi pavilion sheds light on the Kingdom’s efforts and initiatives in urban development and sustainable city planning.

In addition to this, it showed successful experiences and innovative development projects in several cities.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi participation aims basically to stress the Kingdom’s pioneering role in achieving sustainable urban development.

Through its participation at WUF12, the Kingdom seeks to underscore its dedication to transform Saudi cities into resilient and sustainable urban communities by 2030.
