The General Entertainment Authority announced the launch of the “Boulevard Runway” zone in cooperation with “Saudi Airlines”, as part of Riyadh Season 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Located next to the Boulevard City zone with an area of 140 thousand square meters, Boulevard Runway will feature three Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

The three aircrafts have been converted into shops and restaurants boasting approximately 13 interactive events including gaming events and unique aircraft-related experiences suitable for all ages.
The zone will offer extraordinary experiences on stationary aircrafts designed to provide sky-high luxury.
Recent videos have shown the process of transporting these massive aircrafts through special trucks. To avoid bridges whose height does not match the height of the crafts, the planes have taken a long path in order to land safely.
Established as a collaboration between Riyadh Season and national carrier Saudia, Boulevard Runway brings state-of-the-art entertainment horizons to provide exceptional adventures for all visitors.
The three Boeing aircraft officially commenced its operational service between 1998 and 1999 and served for more than 18 years in the Saudi Airlines fleet.
