US-Israel War Against Iran Could Begin ‘Within Days’: Report

The US is moving closer towards a major war with Iran, which could start within days as a joint military campaign with Israel, reported Axios.

According to sources, a massive, weeks-long US-Israeli military campaign against Iran could begin “very soon,” and would be “much broader in scope – and more existential for the regime – than the Israeli-led 12-day war last June.”

As a nuclear deal between Washington and Tehran appears increasingly unlikely, the possibility for an operation surges amid a massive military buildup.

The US has deployed two aircraft carriers near Iran, alongside dozens of guided-missile destroyers, fighter squadrons, surveillance aircraft, additional refueling tankers and air defense systems.

Furthermore, more than 150 US military cargo flights have delivered weapons systems and ammunition to the region. Over the past 24 hours, the US sent another 50 fighter jets — F-35s, F-22s and F-16s – to the Middle East.

“The boss is getting fed up. Some people around him warn him against going to war with Iran, but I think there is 90% chance we see kinetic action in the next few weeks,” one of Trump’s advisers told Axios.

Meanwhile, two Israeli officials said their government was bracing for a scenario of war “within days,” as Israel continues to advocate for a campaign to topple the regime and dismantle its nuclear and missile programs.

The US and Iran on Tuesday held a second round of indirect talks in Geneva. While both sides indicated “progress,” American officials noted that Iran needs to return with a detailed proposal in two weeks.

Vice President JD Vance told Fox News that Trump “has set some red lines that the Iranians are not yet willing to actually acknowledge and work through,” adding that Trump could determine that diplomacy has “reached its natural end” if a breakthrough is not achieved.
