The fully Public Investment Fund-owned company “SIRC” explained in a press release that this achievement marks an important step for “Yadum” to enter the British market, a region with tremendous potential for importing recyclable materials.
This move is not the first of its kind, as “SIRC” had previously started exporting PET flakes to Spain earlier this year, increasing exports to over 1,650 tons.
SIRC, Strengthen its Partnership
The company confirmed that it is not only opening new doors to expand its export capabilities but also strengthening its partnership with “SIRC” with major companies in Europe. This cooperation is expected to drive further integration in the PET recycling sector and other areas.
The CEO of the “SIRC” Group, Engineer Ziyad bin Mohammed Al-Shiha, expressed their pride in contributing to the Kingdom’s sustainability goals through this effort.
It also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, divert waste away from landfills, and support the Saudi Green Initiative. “SIRC” plays a pivotal role in enabling local industries and promoting a more sustainable future.
