Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce is recalling 2,765 Ford F-150 vehicles from the 2014 model due to a defect in the automatic transmission sensor, the Ministry announced on Tuesday.

The problem: A defect in the automatic transmission sensor, which may cause the vehicle’s speed to drop suddenly while driving. Consequently, this could cause a loss of vehicle control and lead to a crash.
The solution: The Ministry urged users of the recalled vehicles to kindly contact local vehicle dealers in order to carry out the necessary repairs for free.
Alert: The Ministry called on vehicle owners to verify that the vehicle chassis number is included in the recall campaign via the Defective Products Recall Center website: (وزارة التجارة : مركز استدعاء المنتجات المعيبة (recalls.sa)).
