Saudi Ministry of Tourism Celebrates Reaching 100 Million Tourists
Yesterday, Saudi Ministry of Tourism celebrated reaching 100 million tourists by the end of 2023. This achievement occurred seven years ahead of schedule.
The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, thanked the leadership for their unlimited support for the tourism sector. He also stressed that the unprecedented transformation that the tourism sector is witnessing today is the result of continuous efforts and hard work.
Ministers, ambassadors, major local and international investors, and specialists in the tourism sector attended the celebration. President of UN World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili, and President of the World Tourism Council for Travel and Tourism, Julia Simpson attended as well.
