King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Organizes Environmental Volunteer Event
Yesterday, the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority organized a volunteer event to remove waste in Wadi Al-Touqi, south of the reserve. Male and female volunteers from the local community participated, as part of the comprehensive cleaning campaign initiative “Let it Breathe”.
Through comprehensive “Let It Breathe” clean-up campaigns, the Authority aims to rehabilitate degraded lands and natural habitats. In addition, it aims to remove pollution from soil, protect fungal organisms from waste damage.
The volunteer event also comes within the framework of the King Abdulaziz Reserve Authority’s keenness to involve the local community in protecting and developing the environment. In addition, it seeks to enhance environmental volunteer work in the reserve by international best practices.
