Fuel Efficiency

More than 73% of Flynas’s fleet, consisting of 64 A320neo aircraft, has been updated. These aircraft are the most advanced and fuel-efficient single-aisle planes globally. This update has resulted in a CO2 reduction of 7,200 tons per month, equivalent to planting 288,000 trees monthly.

The new planes are 18% more fuel-efficient, reducing CO2 emissions by 8% per 100 RPM compared to the previous generation.

Digital Transformation

The company has adopted smart devices for cockpit procedures to reduce paper usage and fuel consumption.

They have partnered with top global companies to enhance maintenance, engineering, and logistics functions through software and technological solutions. The company is developing an electronic platform for marketing Umrah products and issuing electronic visas.

Sustainable Impact Initiatives

Flynas’s focuses on launching sustainable initiatives impacting the environment, society, and economy. They have partnered with leading institutions in Saudi Arabia and worldwide in recycling and promoting eco-friendly consumer products.

Global Commitments

The airline is also a member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), contributing to sustainable global tourism.

Collaborations and Future Goals

Flynas has signed an MoU with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. This partnership explores opportunities and best practices for recycling waste materials like oils, plastics, and batteries.

These efforts contribute to the Saudi Green Initiative towards achieving carbon neutrality and enhancing sustainability and environmental conservation.

Flynas aims to double its sustainability performance and protect environmental resources by gradually phasing out the older A320 CEO engines by the end of 2024.
