Saudi Media Minister Visits STC Group, Views Latest Digital Media Solutions

Saudi Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari visited the headquarters of STC Group in Riyadh, where he was received by the Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Faisal, and Group CEO Eng. Olayan bin Mohammed Al-Wetaid.

The two sides discussed ways to boost cooperation and develop partnerships in existing and future projects, where they also signed a memorandum of understanding in the fields of digital media and artificial intelligence (AI), utilizing advanced technological solutions to support and empower the media system, and exchanging expertise in the field of media and preparing leaders.

The Minister of Media praised the group’s experience as a leading national landmark and the close relationship between the media sector and the group, noting that the MoU aims to support existing joint work, move it to higher levels, and develop cooperation in future projects.

Prince Mohammed stressed the group’s commitment to its role in the digital empowerment of vital sectors in the Kingdom in various fields, mainly the media. He added that the group seeks to harness technological and knowledge capabilities to continue to provide innovative digital solutions for the development of media in the Kingdom in a way that keeps pace with the wise leadership’s aspirations.

Various officials of the ministry accompanied Al-Dosari on the visit that senior executives of STC Group attended.
