Saudi Arabia to Host Inaugural Cultural Investment Conference in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia will host the first edition of the Cultural Investment Conference 2025 in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Under the theme “Culture is Capital,” the conference will take place on September 29-30, 2025, at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, with the participation of the Saudi Culture Minister, Prince Badr bin Farhan.
The Cultural Investment Conference 2025 will bring together global investors, decision-makers, cultural leaders, representatives of governmental and private entities, non-governmental organizations, in addition to cultural entrepreneurs and creative talents.
The conference’s agenda features more than 38 panel sessions and workshops, revolving around three main content pillars.
The first pillar, Wealth of Culture, highlights culture’s potential as an economic driver promoting tourism, creating jobs, and advancing regional and international development, while positioning Saudi Arabia as a key hub for such investments.
The second pillar, Raising Cultural Capital, examines innovative investment mechanisms to leverage cultural opportunities, with a focus on emerging markets.
Meanwhile, the third pillar, the Cohesive Power of Culture, underscores the ability of inclusive and collaborative investment approaches to promote global cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
The Cultural Investment Conference 2025 also explores several themes, including Culture as Capital, Financing the Future of Culture, De-risking Cultural Investments, Creative Entrepreneurship, Cultural Diplomacy, and Reimagining Public Funding.
The conference is a pivotal milestone in Saudi Arabia’s path towards empowering the cultural sector and transforming it into a vital economic driver that promotes the Kingdom’s national identity, contributes to tourism growth, and enhances Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global cultural map.
Moreover, it underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to cement Riyadh’s status as a global hub for culture and creative economy.
