Expanding Industrial Horizons
Alkhorayef’s engagement with Japanese officials didn’t stop there. He met with representatives from the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC). This meeting was crucial for discussing strategic cooperation in supplying Japan’s industry with mineral resources.
Furthermore, Alkhorayef discussed ways to leverage JOGMEC’s expertise in various fields like exploration, development, production, storage, and environmental protection.
This collaboration is expected to enhance the geological survey efforts in Saudi Arabia, potentially unlocking new mineral resources.

The Minister’s visit also included a tour of Toho Titanium’s facilities, where he met with the company’s CEO and the board chairman. This visit highlights the importance of understanding advanced industrial processes and exploring potential areas for Saudi-Japanese industrial cooperation.

Bandar Alkhorayef brings over 27 years of experience in industrial, commercial, and investment fields to his role as Minister. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from King Saud University.
