KSrelief Signs Program with Islamic Development Bank
Today, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a joint program with the Islamic Development Bank to implement medical volunteer programs outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reported Saudi Press Agency. The signing took place at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of KSrelief, and Muhammad bin Sulaiman Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank attended the signing.
Following the signing, Muhammad Al Jasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank, expressed his delight at being present at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. Al Jasser described the center as a pride for every Saudi citizen. He praised the commendable efforts of the Center, which have become well-known and acknowledged globally. He highlighted the joint charitable work between the Center and the Islamic Development Bank. This work contributes significantly to the charity sector.
Moreover, Al Jasser explained that the signed program includes a project to combat blindness and eye diseases in member countries and those supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. This program is an exemplary model of cooperation between charitable institutions and the Islamic Development Bank.
Al Jasser also added that the Islamic Development Bank was established in Riyadh on the initiative of Saudi Arabia. King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center represents Saudi Arabia and the name of its leader. This signing is part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to support volunteer programs in various disciplines in beneficiary countries around the world.
