Japanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia goes on a camel tour in the desert
Fumio Iwai, the Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, expressed delight at attending the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival and riding a camel for the first time.
he said in a tweet: “Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Camel Festival of King Abdulaziz. What’s even better is that I got to ride a camel for the first time in my life.”
He went on to say that this was the world’s largest camel festival.
He also told his supporters that he had learned a few new Arabic phrases for camel colors, including Al-Wadh, Al-Shaqh, Al-Sha’al, Al-Khamr, Al-Safar, and Majaheem.
Twitter users reacted to the ambassador’s video on his account, welcome him, and expressed pride in their shared hobbies and passion for camels, as well as their pride in Saudi-Japanese relations.
Some of them promised the ambassador that he would become “addicted to adore the Arabian Desert at such seasons of the year,” and that he would enjoy camel riding.
