Saudi Arabia and Egypt have unfolded a new chapter of cooperation through an important memorandum of understanding (MoU) on maritime connectivity, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The MoU was signed by Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser and Egyptian Minister of Transport and Industry Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir.

The partnership aims to boost bilateral cooperation in maritime connectivity and share expertise to qualify specialized cadres in maritime transport services.
Moreover, the areas of cooperation include yacht and marine passenger ship transport activities, as well as passenger ferries.
Global Logistics Forum

The signing ceremony was part of the Global Logistics Forum, which is currently taking place at the King Abdullah Financial Center in Riyadh.
Organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the forum offers a valuable platform for logistics experts and leaders to collaborate and shape the sector’s future.
The three-day forum highlights important sessions and meetings covering the latest technological developments in the logistics sector, environmentally friendly technologies, and infrastructure investments.
