
Riyadh will host the second edition of the European Food Festival, on October 24 and 25, within the framework of cooperation between the Diplomatic Quarter Office of the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh and the European Union Delegation to the Kingdom.
The festival at Kindi Plaza welcomes visitors from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM, providing an opportunity to enhance cultural exchange between the Kingdom and European Union countries.
It showcases European culinary arts and offers a diverse range of distinctive European dishes and flavors, featuring cooking demonstrations where renowned European chefs compete to prepare unique dishes, highlighting the cultural diversity in culinary arts among the nations. Moreover, there will be live music performances and entertainment activities suitable for all family members, including activities and a designated area for children.
The European Union Ambassador to the Kingdom, Ambassador Christophe Varno, stated that the festival is more than just a celebration of European cooking, and a tangible expression that deepens the synchronization of communication with the Saudi people, with the aim of enhancing cultural exchange between countries.
On his part, Executive Director of the Diplomatic Quarter Office at the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh, Mazen Bahamdeen, described the event as a meeting place for cultures and deepening ties.
Additionally, the festival also comes within the framework of enhancing cultural exchange between countries.
