Meanwhile, Visitors to the pavilion from the Chinese cultural community interacted with the award’s various programs, whether in terms of ideas, goals, or branches.
The award tackles various cultural and creative fields. It will be given to two categories: the cultural elite category.
Visitors Admire the Award
The visitors also expressed their admiration for this award as an effective and distinctive tool for enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, a cultural symposium about the award took place on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The Director General of the King Abdulaziz Public Library, Bandar Al-Mubarak, represented the symposium on Saturday.
Beijing International Book Fair 2024
Saudi Arabia inaugurated its pavilion in the Beijing International Book Fair 2024 on Wednesday as a guest of honor for this year’s session, reported Al Arabiya. The fair took place from June 19 to 23 in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
The Saudi participation is led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority.
The Kingdom’s pavilion have witnessed, for five days, a diverse cultural program that includes seminars and dialogue sessions evoking Saudi culture.
Worth mentioning, The pavilion includes a special display of books, manuscripts and artifacts discovered in the Kingdom. A special night will also be held for a Saudi dinner that includes Saudi performing arts.
The pavilion also allocates corners for partners of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority from the various centers and associations that form part of the Saudi cultural system.
