The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has opened registration for the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 for all local and international publishing houses wishing to participate in the next session of the exhibition, reported Akhbaar 24. It will be held from September 26 to October 5, 2024 in the city of Riyadh.
The commission said that the registration period will run until June 16, 2024. It noted that the Riyadh International Book Fair represents a cultural window that brings together literary, publishing and translation specialists from different parts of the world to exchange knowledge and culture, support the publishing industry, and promote reading in society. The fair also provides the opportunity to present the latest works and literary publications for readers.
The exhibition includes a cultural program containing a wide range of distinguished cultural events and activities, such as lectures, workshops, and seminars, in which a group of experts and intellectuals participate.
The book fair includes a corner for Saudi Authors, as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to support Saudi authors. The pavilion enables them to display their works and writings to a wide audience of readers and intellectuals. It represents an important platform for Saudi authors who own the rights to publish.
Riyadh International Book Fair is one of the most prominent Arab book fairs as it attracts a large number of visitors. The exhibition also witnesses wide participation from Arab, regional and international publishing houses, making it a prominent cultural event at the international level.
