The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has on Sunday launched its Academic and Universal Enrichment Programs 2024, in cooperation with King Saud University.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the programs anticipate the participation of 798 male and female students. The programs last for three weeks and involve a variety of scientific activities and workshops that focus on developing the participants’ research skills as well as critical and creative thinking.

On this occasion, King Saud University’s Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Ali bin Kanakher Al-Dalbahi, expressed the university’s pride in hosting the Academic and Universal Enrichment Programs 2024 that bring together an elite of gifted students. This contributes to honing their skills and boosting their scientific potential, Al-Dalbahi said.
Al-Dalbahi stressed the importance of providing an adequate educational environment to motivate innovation and creativity. He also expressed his aspiration that these programs will be a significant step in the students’ academic and professional careers.
Furthermore, he underscored the university’s efforts to provide the best education and training opportunities that keep pace with the global developments.

The Academic and Universal Enrichment Programs 2024 are part of the Mawhiba summer enrichment programs which aim to foster gifted students and enhance their scientific and linguistic knowledge.
These programs will see the participation of 13,000 students. They include 450 students from Syria, Jordan, Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Yemen, Egypt, and South Africa.
