King Salman Airport Reviews Strategic Plans at Routes World 2024 Exhibition

King Salman International Airport has participated for the first time in the Routes World 2024 Exhibition and Conference in Bahrain, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

As part of the Saudi airports’ participation under the theme “Saudi Arabia, the Meeting Place of the World,” the airport aims to showcase its strategic plans to international partners in order to advance the Saudi aviation sector.

King Salman Airport enjoys a prestigious position among other Saudi ports with a strong anticipation of becoming one of the largest airports in the world. It will position Riyadh as a global destination for transportation, trade and tourism.

The exhibition offers a significant platform for the airport to display its stunning design reflecting the unique identity of Riyadh and its rich cultural heritage.

Moreover, it represents a valuable opportunity to boost cooperation and forge partnerships with aviation sector leaders, partners, and potential investors.

King Salman International Airport

Spanning over 57 sq km, the airport features six parallel runways, accommodating 120 million passengers, with extra capacity allowing for further growth of 185 million.

The flight terminal also includes 12-kilometre-square airport support facilities, residential and recreational facilities, and retail stores.

Through its modern and sustainable facilities, the airport aims to provide a smooth and unique travel experience for all visitors around the world.

It aspires to redefine the concept of air travel in the region and significantly achieve the ambitious goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
