Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) unveiled the details of the upcoming fifth edition of Riyadh Season 2024. It is scheduled to start on October 12.
GEA Chairman Turki Alalshikh announced that this year’s season will include 14 entertainment zones, 11 international championships, and 10 festivals and exhibitions.
Alalshikh announced that the fifth edition of Riyadh Season will cover an expansive area of 7.2 million square meters. The event will feature 4,200 contracts and involve 2,100 companies, with nearly 95 percent of the participants being local businesses. He also introduced a new space called “The Venue,” which spans 9,425 square meters and can accommodate around 8,000 attendees. The Venue is set to host seven events.
Boulevard Runway
The fifth edition will introduce a new feature called “Boulevard Runway,” created in collaboration with Saudi Airlines. Additionally, this area will repurpose old, unused airplane models and will be divided into three zones, accommodating up to 9,000 people across 140,000 square meters.

Alalshikh urged visitors to purchase their Riyadh Season tickets exclusively through the “We Book” app – the official platform for ticket purchases – emphasizing that the GEA will not tolerate those who buy tickets through black market applications.
The GEA also has introduced new features to elevate the user experience for this year’s Riyadh Season. These include new subscription packages offering comprehensive experiences through the “We Book” platform, an all-in-one online store, and enhancements to the ticket purchasing process.
Lastly, the GEA revealed what it described as the “biggest announcement” concerning new offerings: the Riyadh Season Package, the Silver Package, the Black Package, and the Diamond Package.
Furthermore, Riyadh Season, a prominent entertainment event, aims to bring innovative concepts to the entertainment industry, positioning Riyadh as a premier global destination for diverse entertainment enthusiasts.
