Saudi Arabia is exerting integrated efforts to facilitate the journey of the pilgrims during the Hajj season
Among its efforts is raising awareness of the important tips that pilgrims should follow to make their rituals easier. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also passed on valuable advice to pilgrims to avoid travel hardship.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah advises those traveling for Hajj to follow the tips below to avoid the hassle of traveling:
- Prepare well in advance.
- Minimize heavy luggage as much as possible.
- Adhere to baggage weights and specifications.
- Go to airports on time.
- Verify travel documents before moving.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that transporting individuals who violate Hajj regulations and do not hold Hajj permits or visas is a legal violation that requires the prescribed penalty.
It indicated that the penalty amounts to imprisonment for a period of 6 months, a fine of up to 50 thousand riyals, and a demand to judicially confiscate the means of transportation, deportation, as well as banning the violating expatriate from entering the Kingdom.
The Ministry urged concerned authorities to report fake campaigns and violators. It exhorted them to use the following numbers- 911 in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the Eastern Province, and Riyadh, and 999 in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
