The General Administration of Education in the Qassim region won two gold medals at the ITEX 2024 International Exhibition of Inventions, Innovations and Technology, held in Malaysia.
Mishari Al-Harbi, a Saudi student, won a gold medal for his project “Developing a wireless LoRaWAN network to detect enhanced water leaks” in the field of information and communications technology, multimedia.
Dana Al-Ayyaf, another Saudi student, won the gold medal for her project “Hydrogenation of furfural derived from biomass using a zeolite catalyst towards producing sustainable and clean fuel” in the field of energy.
The Director of Qassim Education, Muhammad Al-Furaih, confirmed that this achievement at the “ITEX International Exhibition” is added to the series of achievements achieved by the public administration in a number of fields and competitions at the local and global levels.
The “ITEX” exhibition is also an international platform to attract inventions and innovations in various fields of science and technology. Additionally, it aims to attract interested innovators, inventors, investors and manufacturers in a group of countries, to explore new inventions and innovations in scientific fields.
