Boulevard World opened its doors on Friday, October 30, as part of the seventh edition of Riyadh Season 2026, bringing new cultural and entertainment experiences that evoke life in destinations around the world.
Now in its fifth consecutive year since launching in 2022, the destination has added four new areas inspired by Yemen, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Uzbekistan. The additions expand its cultural map through experiences that combine traditional architecture, popular markets, local cuisine, and the arts.
Yemen: Historic Architecture, Coffee, Honey
Yemen stands out among the new additions for its architectural and cultural heritage. The experience evokes the character of ancient cities, particularly the distinctive urban style of historic Sanaa, with its ornate buildings and unique architectural details.
Alongside the architecture, the area features products closely associated with Yemen, including coffee, honey, textiles, and handicrafts, as well as traditional dishes that reflect the distinctiveness of Yemeni cuisine.
Through its alleys and markets, the experience goes beyond sightseeing, offering visitors a window into a rich culture that extends from architecture to taste and craftsmanship.
From Lisbon to Windmills
In the Portuguese section, the journey moves to an atmosphere inspired by Lisbon, featuring its architectural details, colorful streets, and decorative tiles known as azulejos.
Moreover, the experience is completed with traditional foods and desserts and Portuguese music, most notably Fado, one of the country’s most prominent forms of musical expression.
The Netherlands is represented through scenes inspired by windmills, canals, and flowers that have become central to its tourist image, alongside experiences highlighting aspects of Dutch food culture and craftsmanship.
Uzbekistan Revives Silk Road
From Europe, the journey moves to Central Asia, where Uzbekistan offers an atmosphere inspired by Silk Road cities, with their blue decorations, traditional patterns, and colorful textiles.
The destination also introduces visitors to popular dishes and local products in an experience that recalls the history of cities that played a major role in trade and cultural exchange between East and West.
World Cultures in One Place
The journey is not limited to the four new destinations. Boulevard World retains areas inspired by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Iran, Japan, China, France, Italy, Morocco, Greece, Mexico, Egypt, the United States, India, South Korea, Indonesia, and Spain, as well as areas reflecting African, Asian, and Levantine cultures.
Each area has its own visual and architectural identity that captures the most prominent features of its destination, with restaurants, stores, markets, and live performances distributed throughout.
Visitors can therefore move within hours from Asian cuisine to Arab and European markets, discovering traditional crafts and products within a single entertainment space.
This diversity gives the destination a character that goes beyond conventional games and events, turning it into an interactive experience that combines shopping, global flavors, and folk arts, while presenting multiple cultures in ways suited to different age groups.
Adventures on Land, Water
On the entertainment side, the destination offers experiences that combine adventure, visual technology, and family activities. Among the highlights are the water-based game “Amazonia Awakens” and the Vuz Dome cinema, which features 360-degree ocean-themed shows for an immersive viewing experience.
The destination also includes “BLVD Pier” games, racing experiences, interactive games, and a cable car that allows visitors to view the area from above.
The lake is one of Boulevard World’s main attractions, with water taxis and a variety of boats allowing visitors to explore parts of the destination by water.
Wildlife experiences are featured in the Africa area, where visitors can observe and interact with animals, alongside activities designed for children and families.
10-Week Season
Boulevard World’s opening forms part of the seventh edition of Riyadh Season, which began on October 21, 2026, under the theme “Big Time.” The season runs for 10 weeks and includes international sports championships, concerts, theater and comedy shows, and family activities.
The destination’s return for a fifth year reflects its continued position among the season’s leading attractions, having drawn visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom in previous editions through an experience that brings multiple cultures together in one place.
Boulevard World welcomes visitors in the Hittin district, north of Riyadh. Entry tickets are available through the WeBook platform, which provides booking options and details about the experiences and activities available during the season.
At this destination, visitors do not need luggage or passports to move between continents. A few steps are enough to travel from Yemen’s alleys to the streets of Lisbon, stand before Dutch windmills, and end the journey among the Silk Road decorations of Uzbekistan.
