
Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, met with Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture, Prince Bader congratulated Uzbekistan on successfully hosting the conference, praising its active role in promoting international cultural dialogue. He also commended Uzbekistan’s distinguished presence at the Riyadh International Book Fair, which highlighted the country’s rich craftsmanship and artistic creativity.
During their meeting, both ministers reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in cultural exchange, heritage preservation, and the creative industries.
They also welcomed the ongoing partnership between the Diriyah Biennale Foundation and the Bukhara Biennale of Contemporary Art, which featured the Diriyah Biennale’s AlMusalla Prize-winning design.
Concluding the meeting, Prince Bader expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality of the Uzbek government and extended his best wishes for Uzbekistan’s continued cultural development and prosperity.
