
The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CSTC) has signed a Cooperation Memorandum with India’s Telecom Authority on Regulatory, Digital Fields. CSTC was represented by the Governor, Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRA) represented by its Chairman, Anil Kumar Lahoti. Both signed the memorandum.
The signing was inked in the presence of the Minister of State for Communications of the Republic of India, Dr. Chandrasekhar Bhimasani, on the sidelines of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) held in New Delhi, India.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties through several areas of mutual collaboration, such as implementing use cases for regulatory technologies (RegTech), and conducting joint studies in the fields of infrastructure and digital regulation principles.
The two authorities look forward to sharing information and knowledge in the telecommunications and technology sectors. They aim to benefit from training programs offered by the Digital Regulators Academy while strengthening their strategic partnership. Finally, this collaboration will develop relations in telecommunications, space, and technology to serve mutual interests.
