The press release noted progress in Rwanda, where a circular framework supports environmental sustainability and economic growth. It added that Zambia is finalizing a stakeholder-focused framework, while Paraguay seeks feedback from local producers and stakeholders on its e-waste regulations.

Recycle Your Device

CST previously launched the “Recycle Your Device” initiative, the first national program focused on recycling electronic devices. Through this effort, over 100,000 devices have been collected, resulting in the recycling of more than 240 tons of e-waste. The initiative has also provided support to over 120 schools and charitable organizations by donating recycled devices. It also reduces carbon emissions, and contributing to the mitigation of global warming by approximately 0.03°C.
