The Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and several partner organizations, held a special event to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The gathering brought together female students, researchers, and professionals from a wide range of scientific disciplines to explore strategies for advancing women’s engagement in science.
Discussions centered on better aligning efforts in education, workforce development, and public policy to expand opportunities for women and strengthen their leadership roles in scientific fields.
The event concluded with presentations showcasing the achievements of Saudi women in scientific research, entrepreneurship, and national science initiatives. Moreover, these success stories highlighted diverse career pathways and inspired young women to pursue futures in science and innovation.
Finally, through this initiative, C4IR Saudi Arabia and its partners reaffirmed their dedication to fostering an inclusive innovation ecosystem and empowering women as vital contributors to the Kingdom’s ongoing development.
