Amid the “spring-like” conditions brought on by the region’s heavy rains, most park-goers are eager to acquire the essentials for enjoying the constant rain showers. An umbrella, in particular, is a key priority for those who relish the cool and mild weather during the tough summer season in Asir.
Due to ongoing rainfall, temperatures have dropped across most governorates in the region, particularly in areas located on the Sarawat mountains, where they now range between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The National Weather Center and Civil Defense are maintaining warnings about the continuation of rainy weather in the coming days.

August, which is considered the hottest month globally, presents an important opportunity for outdoor gear vendors in the Asir region to market their products, including small tents, manual umbrellas, and cooking utensils. However, the most prominent market these days is for umbrellas, which start at 15 riyals and can go up to 150 riyals depending on size and quality.
