Monsha’at to Launch Franchise Tour in 14 Cities Next August

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) will launch the Franchise Tour next month. It will start in Al-Khobar Governorate from August 12 to 13, with several supporting and enabling entities participating.

The tour aims to introduce franchising services and programs, contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The tour aims to target 5 cities and provinces in its first phase during the current year, including: Al Khobar, Abha, the Qassim and Hail regions, and concluding in Jeddah. The tours will resume next year covering a total of 7 cities and provinces. Moreover, all the activities will end in two regions by 2026.

The tour aims to boost awareness and knowledge about franchising, covering legal, operational, and marketing aspects. It seeks to stimulate expansion and investment through the franchise model. Additionally, the tour will showcase success stories and offer a comprehensive investment environment with the help of consulting entities, franchise brand licensors, and potential franchisees.

Educational, Awareness Programs

The first phase of the tour will also include a franchise exhibition, showcasing more than 80 franchisors offering over 375 franchise opportunities. Additionally, the event will feature educational and awareness programs through panel discussions, meetings, workshops, and advisory sessions to provide information about franchising. It will also offer an effective networking platform with leading brands and interested parties in the sector.

Experts and specialists from various entities are contributing to the roundtable discussions. These discussions cover programs and products that help drive the franchising system. The sessions will also address services and procedures to facilitate franchising in the Kingdom. They will discuss financing products for franchises, bank programs, and the role of chambers of commerce in supporting the franchising ecosystem.

The workshops focus on key aspects of franchising for entrepreneurs, including acquiring franchise rights, evaluating investment opportunities, and learning about market strategies and international expansion. They also introduce the Franchise Center at “Monsha’at” and cover the development of operational manuals for brands.
