The Andromeda Galaxy appeared in the night sky over the Northern Borders Region yesterday, offering breathtaking views that reflected the area’s clear atmosphere and minimal light pollution—conditions ideal for stargazing.
Adnan Khalifa, a member of the Astronomy and Space Club, explained that the Andromeda Galaxy is the only galaxy visible to the naked eye when the sky is clear and free from direct light sources. He noted that this rare sighting allows astronomy enthusiasts to observe one of the closest galactic neighbors to the Milky Way.
He added that the Northern Borders Region is among the least light-polluted areas in the Kingdom, making it a supportive environment for astronomical observation and an appealing destination for night-sky photographers and deep-space explorers alike.
