Samsung holds several ‘Unpacked’ events throughout the year to announce its latest mobile, wearable, computing, and audio hardware.
The first 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event kicked off on January 17, in San Jose, California.
On July 10, the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 July edition took place in Paris, highlighting the attendance of several fans from all around the world who were so eager to see these items.
The event has showcased the latest developments in foldable technology, smartwatches, and other cutting-edge accessories, amid an increase in AI-powered innovations.
It marked the launch of various products including Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Ring.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a “smart ring” designed to be lightweight and comfortable enough to be worn 24/7.
It contains three sensors to control over your well-being and health by measuring things like heart rate and sleep.
The Ring costs $399 and is available on July 24, according to CNBC.
Galaxy Watch Ultra
This is the first “Ultra” version of Samsung’s smartwatch.
It is the ideal watch for adventure in different climates, temperatures, and altitudes.
Galaxy Watch Ultra has a circular watch design with titanium cushion frames and three-nanometer application processor making it three times faster than its predecessor.
Furthermore, it works at a wide range of altitudes, from 500 meters below sea level to 9,000 meters high, for more extreme sports.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is the latest version of Samsung’s foldable smartphone.
Its screen is made of materials selected for greater durability and sustainability.
It features a ratio of 22.1:9 which is wider than the Galaxy Z Fold5.
The Fold6 now features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC as well as 12GB of RAM.
It starts at $1,899 and is available on July 24.
Galaxy Z Flip6
Galaxy Z Flip6 is a creative reimagination fueled by a 50-megapixel wide sensor and a suite of AI tools powered by the all-new ProVisual engine.
It has a high-quality 10X zoom performance.
Samsung has also enhanced the popular FlexCam with Auto Zoom to provide a hands-free experience to users while Galaxy AI automatically finds the best scene for each shot and makes any necessary adjustments.
Galaxy Z Flip6 contains, for the first time, a vapor chamber to optimize performance and allow batteries to keep up with busy business professionals.
Samsung Galaxy Watch7
The watch comes into two sizes, 40mm and 44mm.
As for the battery life, the 40mm model uses a 300mAh battery while the 44mm model uses a 425mAh battery.
It includes Samsung’s latest 3nm Exynos W1000 CPU, together with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
For promoted performance, Samsung has employed a 3nm processor for the first time in its smartwatches.
The watch provided heart rate monitoring, oxygen saturation measuring, and sleep tracking.
Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro
Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro two years ago.
The Galaxy Buds 3 series has a new design with an open-type model for the standard one and an in-ear configuration for the Pro version.
It has an 11mm one-way dynamic driver while the Galaxy Buds Pro features a two-way 10.5 mm Dynamic Speaker and a 6.1 mm Planar Driver.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro includes a Voice Control feature, which means that they can automatically adjust sound levels and noise canceling based on a user’s surroundings.
