Saudi Equestrian Khaled Al-Mubti Participates in Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Khaled Al-Mubti is one of six Saudi athletes who have qualified for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris.

The Saudi equestrian will represent the Kingdom at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris along with his Saudi fellow riders Abdul Rahman Al-Rajhi and Ramzy Al-Duhami.

Who is Khaled Al-Mubti?

Khaled Al-Mubti is a player for the Saudi equestrian team. He holds several medals, including the gold medal in the hurdles jumping competitions at the Asian Games in 2018. Moreover, Al-Mubti also won the silver medal in the Asian Games for indoor and martial arts in 2017.

Historic Victory in Jumping Championship

Al-Mubti became the first Saudi equestrian to win first place in the “Saudi Jumping” Championship, organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) at the “Saudi Jumping” headquarters in Janadriyah.

He won the middle round title for the 5-star category in the world classification round, hence qualifying for the 2022 World Cup finals in Germany. Additionally, Al-Mubti beat the Swedish rider Peder Fredriksson, ranked No. 1 in the world in show jumping.

Triumph at  Ministry of Environment, Agriculture

Knight Al-Mubti also achieved first place in the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture International Show Jumping Cup Championship at the Murtajaz Equestrian Center. 131 male and female knights participated in the tournament, competing over 3 consecutive days and in 14 rounds.

 

Success at Diriyah  Championship

In 2018, Al-Mubti won the Diriyah International Show Jumping Championship title. He also was crowned champion at the Al-Dahami Equestrian Center in Diriyah, defeating experienced riders Nathalie Chaudinai from Italy and Saudi Ramzi Al-Dahami. Al-Mubti was also the first Saudi to take first place in the “Saudi Jumping” Championship, organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation.
