The TeamLab Museum, located in Historic Jeddah, is a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture and the global TeamLab Group. It is a Part of the Quality of Life Program under Vision 2030.
It also creates a seamless world without borders and enriching the Kingdom’s cultural scene.
The museum combines arts, technology, and nature in an innovative space. In the “World Without Borders,” visitors learn about the world through their bodies. The museum also features a sports forest, a creative area where visitors enhance their spatial perception. Moreover, this space is designed to help people understand the world physically and think about it in three dimensions.
The TeamLab Museum extends over an area of about 10,000 square meters and is the first museum to be launched in the Middle East. Additionally, it was established permanently on the banks of Al-Arbaeen Lake, overlooking the panoramic views of historic Jeddah, which is included on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The TeamLab project comes within the initiative to develop the infrastructure for cultural exhibitions, which works to prepare the cultural infrastructure to increase the cultural supply in the Kingdom. Furthermore, it is one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program – one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
