Saudia Group Highlights Innovative Services at Hajj Confex 2025

Saudia Group is showcasing its latest projects and innovations at the fifth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Taking place from November 9-12, 2025, the Hajj Conference and Exhibition brings together officials, industry leaders and decision-makers from over 95 countries to exchange expertise and build strategic partnerships that enhance the pilgrim experience.

At Saudia’s pavilion, the group highlights its innovative projects and initiatives that contribute to delivering enhanced services to pilgrims, including the Holy Sites Camps Development Project and the Coolest Ihram Initiative.

Saudia’s efforts include the Arafat Camps Project, which aims to provide a comfortable and safe stay for pilgrims at the Holy Sites.

Its design draws inspiration from AlFursan Lounges, including accommodation areas, services, restaurants, smart walkways, shaded outdoor seating, and prayer zones. They also include metal structures resistant to climate conditions and high-quality interior furnishings.

The first phase of the project kicked off in 2023 at Arafat, across an area spanning 17,000 square meters, accommodating 1,400 pilgrims. In the second and third phases, it expanded to 40,000 square meters, accommodating 4,200 pilgrims from Europe, the US, Canada, Asia and the Gulf.

The project is supervised by the relevant ministries and Kidana Development Company. Meanwhile, Saudia Group’s real estate arm is the owner and SARD Company handles the main contracting work.

In terms of innovation, Saudia Group’s pavilion displays the Coolest Ihram, a patented cooling garment which lowers skin temperature by up to 2°C, with active wicking and rapid drying to provide maximum comfort for pilgrims.
