Saudi students have made history in the 48th International Invention Show INOVA, securing 6 gold medals and 1 silver, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Held from October 16 to 19, in Zagreb, Croatia, INOVA marked the first Saudi participation at the general education level.
The students have achieved remarkable success showcasing Saudi excellence in the second largest exhibition of innovations in Europe, and the second oldest exhibition of inventions.

Interestingly, Saudi Arabia’s students have unveiled 7 advanced projects through multiple competitions in mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, medical, microbiology, environmental engineering, and energy.

Six students have secured gold medals and special awards, including:
- Sara Bannoun
- Tala Al-Refdeh
- Tulin Al-Otaibi
- Abdulrahman Al-Ghannam
- Idris Al-Yami
- Lamar Suleiman
Meanwhile, Misk Al-Hussaini has won a silver medal and a special award.
