The Saudi Statistics Authority reported that Saudi Arabia’s annual inflation rate reached 2.0% in November 2024 compared to the same month in the previous year. This ranks the Kingdom’s inflation rate as one of the lowest among G20 nations.
It is noteworthy that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reflects changes in the prices consumers pay for a fixed basket of goods and services consisting of 490 items. This basket was selected based on the results of the Household Expenditure and Income Survey conducted in 2018. The relevant prices are collected through field visits to points of sale, and the Consumer Price Index statistics are published monthly in the Kingdom.
