Saudi Arabia to Host World Summit on Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh
Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) is organizing the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence in its third edition during the period from 10 to 12 September 2024, at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.
President of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, said that this summit follows the great successes achieved by the first and second editions during 2020 and 2022 under the patronage of the Crown Prince.
The third edition is distinguished by the breadth of its axes that cover international interest in data and artificial intelligence in light of the rapid development of their technologies and their overall impact on the individual and institutional levels, reported Al Arabiya.
Topics of Discussion
The summit, in its third edition, is scheduled to discuss a number of topics, the most prominent of which are: innovation and industry in the field of artificial intelligence, and the turning points for shaping a better future for artificial intelligence.
The summit will further discuss the importance of developing an environment that stimulates human energies in this field. It will focus on artificial intelligence at the local and global level, the complementary relationship between human and artificial intelligence and business leaders in artificial intelligence.
Moreover, it will tackle the relationship between data and applications, generative artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence ethics, artificial intelligence processors and infrastructure and artificial intelligence and smart cities.
The Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence Authority called on senior specialists in artificial intelligence technologies and influential policy and systems makers from various countries of the world to participate in this summit.
The summit will give them the opportunity to present ideas and visions that establish the general frameworks which will govern the use of artificial intelligence technologies in a way that achieves the desired benefit.
